Re-upholstery

We offer you a full reupholstery service. There are many reasons why people choose to upholster.

Quality of the existing furniture and a solid frame: Tetrad, G Plan, Duresta, Vale Bridgecraft, Parker Knoll, Multiyork, Ercol and more
A size of furniture that fits the space you have
You can't find the fabric or colour you want on new furniture
A favourite chair with sentimental value, maybe one that belonged to a family member

How we rebuild a piece

1We remove all fabric and the tired, worn out padding, and replace it with new foam, felt, hessian and rubberized coir.
2Webbing and springs are replaced when necessary.
3The frame structure is checked, and any loose joints are glued and cramped.
4Cushion replacement is optional, and we recommend new seat interiors for most furniture.
5Most cushions are finished with a self piped edge and overlocked. We also offer decorative braid, studs and twin piping to co-ordinate with your chosen fabric.

Loose covers

Loose covers are a popular and practical choice in the recovering of your furniture. The covers we offer are tailored to follow the existing line of upholstery (traditional fitted loose covers). Some furniture is designed to accommodate removeable covers.

You will find your furniture is upholstered in a cream calico or barrier cloth. The majority of fabric upholstered pieces can be tailored for loose covers, however you may lose some original features, e.g. deep buttoned work.

Loose covers can easily be removed for cleaning, and we have a varied range of fabrics for you to choose from.

Dining chairs, recovered UK wide

There are many different types of dining room chairs, and the majority will need recovering at some stage in their lives. We offer a UK wide dining seat pad recovering or reupholstery service.

We will arrange a collection day that suits you. Our courier will collect your seat pads and bring them to our workshop for us to recover or upholster. Your finished seat pads will be returned to you within 10 working days, and we will check first to find a delivery day that is convenient for you.

Your dining chair seats can be covered in any fabric you choose. Have a look at our fabric suppliers, or we are happy to use your own fabric (1 mtr needed for two seat pads). We also offer a fabric sample service: if you find a fabric you like, just email us the name of the fabric collection, the fabric company and your colour choices.

These are easily removed by a gentle push up. No screws are needed.

A lovely couple who took the sagging cushions from our sofa and refilled them perfectly, giving them new life. The new inners have zips, so if they ever lose their shape, more filling can be added. Highly recommend them.

Cushions

We not only sell foam cut to size, we also make replacement cushion interiors to measure. If your cushions are looking tired, deflated and are no longer giving the support you need, replacement interiors are available in various grades of foam, also fibre and feather.

We usually need your cushion covers to get an exact fit. For a quote, call us on 01362 698742 with the overall sizes.

Our foam cushions come as a finished product with a luxurious fibre wrap, enclosed in a stockinette to make filling much easier. Cushion interiors can also be made to fit your existing covers in Fibre Fill and Feather.

Headboards and window seats, and work for interior designers

Alongside our private client base, we work with many interior designers in East Anglia, and we supply a friendly and efficient service to all of our clients.

We can provide reupholstery, loose covers and a range of made to measure headboards. Our headboards are made with bed fixings or can be wall fitted. They can be designed as a feature wall and look stunning in eye-catching fabrics to coordinate with wall coverings and curtains.

We also make Window seats and Table Footstools made to measure, and we are always happy to advise on technical issues and possible finishes.
